Projects

A selection of independently engineered applications, systems utilities, and open-source tools built to solve practical real-world problems.

Featured Applications

Two independent full-stack projects built on modern edge infrastructure.

Open Source Tools

Public Tools & Libraries

Compact, single-purpose software developed with minimal dependencies and direct hardware integration.

NetWatcher for UniFi

A lightweight unknown-device monitor for UniFi network controllers. Features a local Web dashboard, SQLite historical logging, an intuitive approval workflow to trust or ignore newly detected MAC addresses, and pluggable alerts for Pushover and generic webhooks. Packaged as a secure, non-root single-container deployment.

An unofficial interactive academic planning suite for Southern New Hampshire University students. Unifies interactive degree prerequisite visualization, course dependency graph rendering, and transfer equivalency lookups using Next.js, React Flow, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL.

CyberPower UPS

A modern C++17 library and command-line utility (cpups) for communicating directly with CyberPower UPS devices over USB HID and serial. Created by reverse-engineering vendor driver protocols to provide a native Apple Silicon / arm64 binary without Rosetta translation overhead or proprietary runtime dependencies.

A native Swift macOS menu bar utility for observing physical Ethernet and Wi-Fi network failover. Quietly tracks network adapter state changes and delivers optional notifications while leaving system routing tables, Wi-Fi radios, and VPN/Tailscale overlays entirely unperturbed.
